Sustainable Futures was created by Saundra Swink as a format for her consulting services which have a twin focus: on the responsible stewardship of the natural environment and planning and developing services for non-profits and their funders. With a proven track record in working with people from diverse backgrounds and interests, Saundra promotes a holistic approach to development, integrating social, economic and conservation solutions for communities and projects.

Saundra now lives with her husband in the upstate of South Carolina.

Her background includes:

• Nearly 30 years’ experience in designing and implementing successful community development programs

• Unique combination of expertise in both urban and rural settings, with demonstrated capacity to work in both local and regional levels

• Operation of regional and state-wide technical assistance and training programs which benefit low income communities

• Highly skilled in working with people from diverse cultural, social, ethnic and religious backgrounds

• Significant experience in developing resources for the operations of programs and projects

• Brokering technical assistance and consulting services to a wide range of clientele

• developing strong partnerships between public and private sectors
